The Gunners have reportedly started talks with Brighton & Hove Albion over a move for Belgium international attacker Leandro Trossard.
The 28-year-old is having a season to remember having scored seven times and set up three more goals in 16 Premier League matches under Graham Potter who left yhe Amex to replace Tuchel at Chelsea and the current manager De Zerbi.
However, the Belgian international looks to have played his final game in a Brighton shirt after a fall out with De Zerbi, which saw him left out of his squad in their 3-0 over Liverpool last weekend. It is alleged that Trossard doesn’t have the right attitude.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a host of top teams. The player’s agent recently released a statement on social media claiming that a sale would best suit both parties.
Arsenal’s arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have been recently linked with the player. Tottenham had seen their £12m offer rejected by the Seagulls.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have now opened talks over a move for the former Genk winger and negotiations are in advanced stages.

The Gunners have reportedly come to terms with personal terms with the player over a long-term contract and a move could be possibly be finalised in the coming hours.
Trossard has bagged 25 goals and laid 14 assists in 121 appearances for the seagulls since joining the Amex in the summer of 2019. However, the Belgian is only left with 18 months left on his current deal.
Arsenal had made Mudryk their priority signing in January but unfortunately saw Chelsea move fast to hijack the deal. Arse al have been in the market for a new winger after losing Gabriel Jesus and Reiss Nelson to injuries.
The Gunners had ckme with a shortlist of several players after missing out on Mudryk. The likes of Raphinha, Memphis Depay, Moussa Diaby and Brighton’s teammate Kaoru Mitoma.
Barcelona and Bayer Leverkusen have slapped €100m (£87.8m) fees for both Raphinha and Diaby respectively and Depay is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid.
If Arsenal move to finalise the deal for Trossard within hours, he will be in contention to make his debut in Gunners colours at the Emirates against Manchester United.
