EPL table as Man City won 4:2 to close the gap with Arsenal in the title race

Manchester City came from behind to defeat Tottenham Hotspur by 4 goals to 2 to close the gap with Arsenal in title race.

Tottenham Hotspur took a two goal lead at halftime through Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal. After an end to end performance from both sides, the visitors eventually broke the deadlock in the 44th minutes through Kulusevski before Emerson Royal doubled their lead in added time.

The home side started the second half on the front foot and they scored three goals within 12 minutes to lead Spurs. Julian Alvarez pulled one back in the 51st minutes, Erling Haaland leveled the scores in the 53rd minutes and Riyad Mahrez scored the goal to put City ahead.

Late in the second half, Riyad Mahrez scored his second goal of the game to extend City’s lead and the host eventually went on to secure maximum points at the Etihad Stadium.
