The fifth president of Kenya William Samoei Arap Ruto has today launched the program of affordable housing in Kiambu county. He was accompanied by the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua who has taken time to defend their visit to Luo Nyanza a few days ago.
The outspoken member of parliament for Githunguri constituency Gathoni Wamuchomba has thanked the president for visiting them. She was keen to note that she was glad the president had just visited her neighbourhood.
She extended a warm welcome to the deputy president for a cup of tea in her house to make him feel comfortable in the county. She was elected on a united democratic party of Kenya which is led by William Samoei Arap Ruto.
