High School in Nyamira Where The Last Student Attained Grade B Plain.

A High school in Nyamira County has surprised many Kenyans following its 2022 impressive performance which saw all its students pass with flying colors in the just concluded Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (KCSE).

Nyambaria Boys High School which is in Nyamira County burst into celebrations after the results were released in which they had managed to get an overall mean grade of 10.8975 from 9.3086 last year.

According to the student results seen by Opera news, the school had registered 488 students in the just concluded KCSE examinations which was released today by Education Cabinet Secretary Professor Ezekiel Machogu on 20th January 2023.

According to toe the results lists, out of 488 students 28 managed to get straight A’s, 383 A- (Minus), 76 B+ (plus) with the last student getting a B plain.

Addressing the media while flanked by teachers, students, and parents, Nyambaria head teacher Boaz Owino happily said that the School registered 28 straight A’s a tremendous improvement from last year when they managed just 4 A’s.

“We thank God for these results, so far we have downloaded all the results and out of the 488 students we had registered for KCSE this year, 28 have managed to get A’s bearing in mind that last year only 4 managed A plain,” Said Mr. Owino as reported by Citizen TV.

The Principal also added that all the students were eligible to join universities against 13 students last year who failed to reach the minimum University threshold.

In other news, a girl from a little-known public school known as Kimachia Secondary school located in Uringu location, Tigania West Sub-county, Meru county surprised the residents after she attained a grade A plain of 81 points.

Nelly Karimi of index number 15327105022 managed a mean grade of A of 81 After getting English B, Kiswahili A, Mathematics A, Biology A, Physics A, Chemistry A, Geography A, and Business Education A.
