President William Ruto’s appointments have received criticism from various quarters. On Friday he appointed the brother to Defence cabinet secretary Aden Duale to the headship of KETRACO.On Saturday he made various appointments where he appointed former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin Kung’u Muigai to head the Kenya Cultural Center Council.
Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina has sent a satirical message to the head of state. He congratulated him while seemingly taking a chide at his appointments by saying that his various appointments were a clear indication that they were not dominated by two tribes and that was the utmost truth.
The vocal senator wondered why some tribes have been left out and satirically said in swahili that they have been left to their own devices.
“Congratulations Mr. President @WilliamsRuto the appointment are a clear indication of your leadership if it’s not a Njoroge it’s a Kiptum and that is the absolute truth. We have been left to our own devices,we are no nowhere,” the senator said as he seemed to wonder why there were no Maasai’s in the latest appointments.
