There were celebrations in a village in Nyamira after a girl identified as Damacline Moraa who sat for her KCSE 4 times in the years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 scored a B plain.
Damacline revealed that she took the bold step of sitting for her KCSE 4 times because she wanted to get a good grade and join university. Despite getting pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic period when schools were closed, she did not give up on her dream of joining university. She went back to Gekore secondary school and sat for her KCSE.
She is from a poor background and thus her parents could not afford taking her to college despite scoring a C plain for the previous 3 years.
Her teachers at Gekore Secondary said that they supported her for all the times she repeated the fourth form.
She wants to become lawyer. Congratulations and all the best to her in her tertiary education.
