Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Kofi Abanga says that he has not retired from football and that he will soon join a new club. He miss his day with the Phobians and wish the players will do same.
In his days, he was very talented and played with matured players but he now the players are very youthful. They can do twice what they did in their days but, they need to do hard work and prove their doubters wrong.
Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Kofi Abanga speaks to advice the young players at Accra Hearts of Oak.
“There is no quality in the league now. During our time, fans were patronizing the league because of some top players. Our time, we had Obed Ansah, Bossman, myself and other top players and it helped in stadium attendance but at the moment, you won’t get it that way because there is no quality”.
“We don’t have quality and it all bows down to our leaders, they are undermining the game and if they don’t stand firm our league will continue to decline”.
