Although it is the happiness of every member of that family or couple to have a job that can sustain the family, it is not always the case as some individuals voluntary quit employment with their own reasons.
A principal aged fifty years identified as Mercy Chepkoech from a commonly known Kimumu estate, Moiben constituency, Uasin Gishu county in the former Rift Valley province have been forced to resign her job after receiving alot of pressure from the husband.
Speaking to a local media station, she disclosed that the husband asked her to choose between her marriage or employment. “My children are now grown up and the little cash i have saved will sustain me.” She said.
Kenyans online have reacted by blasting the husband for not appreciating the work of a lady.
