It was reported that a 31-year-old farmer based on Osun State, Samuel Oladotun was abducted by some herdsmen alongside his brother, near his farm in Ileogbo town. He was recently interviewed by Punch News. During this interview, he revealed how these herdsmen got their food and water supply despite staying in isolated areas surrounded by thick forests.
According to him, the first place they were taken to by the herdsmen, he heard voices and even a bike moving close to the place which meant that residents were nearby. He said that some people who worked with the gang were bringing food and water for the herdsmen and they were Fulani too because of the language they communicated with.
He said, “We saw people bringing food and water for the herdsmen. We realized that they were also Fulani as they were communicating.
“These people were armed with cutlasses and thick sticks which herders use in controlling cattle”.
