The late Mrs. Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya, who passed away a year ago, received heartfelt tributes on Wednesday from the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate for governor of Lagos State, Dr. Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, his running mate, Funke Akindele, and party leaders.
“Prior to her untimely passing a year ago, Adeniran Ogunsanya served as the Movement’s Apex Leader for the Jandor Governoship race.”
Adediran referred to her as an excellent and selfless leader while speaking at the first memorial service for the deceased on Wednesday at the Jandor’s Office, Liberty House, in Ikeja.
While she was among us, Jandor said, “We want to honor God for her exemplary life, her inspirational leadership, and her sincere devotion for the welfare of the public.”
When Akindele was asked to discuss the late Mrs. Adeniran-Ogunsanya, “she became tearful.”
“We are still grieving her loss and miss her profoundly,” the governorship contender said in her succinct statement.
According to Akindele, “who described how Jandor urged her to join the PDP in the effort to offer locals a “new breath of life,” she believes in the proverb “Qui sera sera, whatever will be will be.”
“I want to honor her. I hope God would grant me the ability to help her celebrate her children with her.”
