EPL: How The Table Would Look If Manchester City Are Kicked Out Of The Division

Manchester City may be kicked out of the Premier League after being accused of breaking financial regulations. All of City’s results this season might theoretically be thrown out the window if they were expelled from the league.

Some teams would undoubtedly benefit from the situation especially the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool who are still hoping to finish in the Top Four.

Chelsea would automatically occupy the 8th position if Manchester City are dropped out of the division. On the same note, Liverpool will gravitate from 11th to 10th on the Premier League table.

Though, that doesn’t look good for both teams but it would be such an added advantage for them on the long run.

Newcastle and Manchester United will be 11 points short of Arsenal – a situation Arsenal would be glad to embrace. Arsenal will be the top favourite to win the Premier League with just 18 games left.

The situation of things would also change at the bottom of the Premier League table. Only two teams would be relegated if Manchester City are kicked out of the division – that would be such a great boost for Southampton, Bournemouth, Everton, Wolves, Leeds, and Leicester.

Let’s take a look at how the Premier League table would look like if City are kicked out of the division:
