Govt Directives Ahead of Form one Admission.

All students who sat for the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) are set to be admitted to form one today 6th February 2023.

A report received from a reputable source reveals that parents have been served with good news ahead of form one admission. According to the report, the government of Kenya has disclosed a new fees structure for all national, county, extra-county and day schools strategically placed within the Kenyan borders.

The detailed information on the report revealed that the ministry of education has announced that all learners in National schools will be required to pay school fees amounting to Ksh 53,554 in the 2023 academic year while while learners undertaking their studies in County and Extra County schools will be required to pay school fees amounting to Ksh 40,555 in the 2023 academic year.

The cabinet secretary for education Hon. Ezekiel Machogu further revealed that learners studying in a public Day School will not pay school fees articulating that the government will solemnly cater for tuition fees for all learners in day schools in the country amounting to Ksh 22,244 in the 2023 academic year.

“School fees for 2023 academic calendar year will not be changed and will remain at Ksh53,554 while that of County and Extra-County Schools will remain at Ksh40,555,” the CS noted.
