Girl Who Scored 319 Marks Writes A Goodbye Letter To Her Father For Abandoning Her Studies

A young girl who has been identified as Melvin Masitsa was one of the candidates who sat for the KCPE examination last year and she scored 319 marks.

Today 7th February 2023 the source has reported that the young girl has fallen out with her father and also the immediate family members after she learnt that she could not be admitted to the school.

The source has reported that Melvin Masitsa was to join form 1 this week but she was unable to join after her father failed to show commitment.

The young girl was frustrated upon learning about her father’s disinterest and this prompted her to write a letter to her father implying that she will go away and they should not search for her and if they search for her she will hurt herself.

Here is what the letter read;

“I have come here for one last time. I was here before and you sent me away. No one wants to associate with me my own sisters who have been fighting me. My only wish was to go to school,” begins Melvin’s letter penned in Swahili.

Here is what the source has reported on their official verified Facebook page;

“A young girl has fallen out with her father and her immediate family after she could not be admitted to school.

Melvin Masitsa scored 319 marks in the 2022 KCPE and was slated to proceed to secondary school like most of her peers.

She was frustrated upon learning about her father’s non-commitment to educate her further.

“Kama unaona nakusumbua, nauheshimu uamuzi wako…penye utanipata unipite kama hunijui,” reads an excerpt of the letter.” Tuko.co.ke posted on their official verified Facebook page.
