Ukraine head coach Ruslan Rotan have dropped his opinion on Mykhailo Mudryk about the winger’s quality and why Chelsea should be patient with him.
Mudryk joined Chelsea in January from Shakhtar Donetsk and the expectation has been high for the talented winger which he has not been able to meet. Some Chelsea fans are already losing hope as they doubt the quality of the winger.
Mudryk has completed just an assist this season for Chelsea and has yet to score a goal. Although, he is just settling down and Potter has said he will keep getting better. The winger is facing competition from the likes of Christian Pulisic, Raheem Sterling, and Mason Mount this season.
Chelsea’s project with Mudryk is a long time which means some of his competitors in the squad could leave at the end of the season. The arrival of Christopher Nkunku who can also play as a left winger will make the competition more fierce.
However, Ukraine Coach Rusian Rotan on why Chelsea should be patient with Mudryk was quoted as saying Mudryk is a great talent. His potential is ahead of him. In a few months, he will play a key role in the Premier League. He’s one of those diamonds we have to cherish in our team.”
This comment from Rotan shows Chelsea needs to exercise patience with Mudryk because he is a potential player to light up the Premier League in the future.
