Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome has finally broken his silence after the invasion of former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family land along Eastern bypass and Azimio la Umoja coalition leader Raila Odinga’s East Africa Spectre Limited factory on Monday.
In an incident that got Kenyans talking for the better part of Monday, Kenyatta family Northlands farm was attacked by the goons who went on a looting spree before setting it ablaze.
In the photos that have been making rounds on social media, goons could be seen carrying sheep on their soldiers.
After a whole day of silence by the police, IG Koome has condemned the twin attacks even as he promises to launch investigations into the incidents.

In a statement on Tuesday, the IG however praised police officers for swift response to thwart the attack on Raila premise.
Since the Monday incident, heavy police presence has been seen at Northlands farm on Tuesday. But the former Prime Minister has accused Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for allegedly being the face behind the attacks.
