Former prime minister Raila Odinga and his allies former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Democratic Movement party, Narck-Kenya party leader Martha Karua, and former Kakamega county governor Wycliffe Oparanya, among other leaders, on Tuesday visited Uhuru’s Land Northland.
The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party leaders visited the piece of land to see on their own, the situation after goons invaded the plot, stole sheep and cut down a number of trees.

The former prime minister and his team got shocked over what they saw in the farm. He continued blaming president William Ruto’s government which he alleged to have hired goons to destroy the farm and steal the livestock.
The former prime minister lamented that the government which should be protecting its Citizen has turned rogue. He explained that they did not go to the farm because it belongs to Uhuru but because it belongs to a Kenyans who is entitled to protection.
“Serikali Inajukumu La Kulinda haki ya kumiliki shamba kwa kila mkenya. Hawa Jamaa wamefanya kitendo cha unyama.” The former prime minister said which translates to, it is the responsibility of the Government to protect the right of land ownership by all citizens, whatever these people have done is inhuman.
“Hatujakuja hapa ati kwa sababu shamba ni la Bw Kenyatta, la, mwenye shamba hili ni mkenya” the former prime minister added which translates into, We have not come here since the land is Uhuru’s, no, it is a Kenyan’s plot.

However, a number of Kenyans were quick to react with some telling him off and reminding him that he would have used the same speed and tough condemnation when other properties were destroyed during the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party Demonstrations.
