Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga has cried foul over International Community’s silence on the current happenings in the country.
Speaking on Tuesday in Nairobi, Raila, who was addressing the aftermath of Monday’s protests accused the international community of turning a blind eye to what is happening in the country.
Raila said the International community has not spoken over alleged “government-sponsored chaos” in the country because they are collaborating with Ruto’s administration
“Our International friends and International communities have remained silent, they cannot speak because they are in bed with Ruto and Gachagua. They are just watching when bad things are happening in our country, it is a big shame on them, we need them to speak over this matter” stated Raila
He said their international friends should come out and take a stand on what is happening in Kenya. Raila insisted that they will not back off and that they will continue to push on until their three demands are heard and addressed by the Kenya Kwanza government.
“We will follow the law and we will not stop demonstrations until we get our rights. We are demanding three things we want the cost of living to come down, we want servers to be opened and thirdly we want those four IEBC officers who were expelled to be recalled. We also want to be included in the recruitment of IEBC officials” stated Raila.
He was accompanied by top Azimio leaders Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, Jeremiah Kioni and George Wajackoyah among others. He said they will be going through Kibra and then to Uhuru’s farm which was invaded yesterday
