Accidents on the roads have left many Kenyans either dead or with life changing injuries for the past few months as per the reports that we have with us.
The alarming numbers have been brought about recklessness as well as non compliance to traffic rules on the part of most drivers.
Just yesterday, a Pwani University Bus that was full of students heading to an interuniversity sports event in Nakuru was involved in a nasty accident at Kayole along the Nairobi to Nakuru Highway where about 14 studnets lost their lives.
This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the busy Naromoru-Nanyuki Highway, there has been a nasty accident involving a school bus.
The school bus is said to have been heading from Murang’a when it was involved in the nasty accident that happened moments ago this morning.
The bus belongs to Karega Secondary School that is found in Murang’a County as per the reports that we have with us from the scene along the highway.
The number of casualties from the accident is still unknown but response has been dispatched to the scene to ensure that the injured are rushed to the hospital.
The cause of the accident remains unknown at this point as the vehicle is still lying in the middle of the road as per the reliable information that we have with us.
