Portable to face 6-count charge — Police

The Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, has said that Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable will be facing at least a six-count charge when he appears at the court following his unruly conduct and incitement against police officers.
In a Twitter post, the FPRO explained why the police were slow to act against MC Oluomo, who threatened some electorates during the 2023 elections but were swift to pick Portable up.

The Chairman of Apa Traditional Council in Apa Local Government Area, LGA, of Benue state and Odejo K’ Apa, Chief John Antenyi has raised the alarm over the killing of many of his subjects and sacking of several communities in his dormant by suspected armed herdsmen.
The invaders were reported to have also invaded communities in neighboring Agatu as well as Guma and Kwande LGAs where several persons were killed and many others sustained serious injuries in over three weeks of sustained attacks.
The royal father who spoke in a telephone interview lamented that communities in his domain like Ikpobi, Odugbo, Akpanta, Ologba, and Oyiji among others had been taken over by the invaders in a ceaseless attack on his subjects.
Abia police decry attack on officers

The Abia State Police Command has alleged that an attack on their men by some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra resulted in the death of five members of the terrorist group.
The claim is contained in a statement by the Command’s PRO, Geoffrey Ogbonna, on behalf of Police Commissioner Mustapha Bala.

Bauchi State governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has extended an olive branch to his opponents in the March 18 election. He declared that with the election over, they should join hands with him to build a new Bauchi.
