Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio la Umoja, has just declared that his group is prepared for the upcoming ‘Mega Monday’ round of anti-government demonstrations.
Even the police, according to the opposition leader, won’t be able to quell their will to bring about change in Kenya. Raila claims that the August 2022 presidential election was fixed despite his victory.
He alleges that in order to help him bring down the former prime minister, President William Ruto and the IEBC commissioners of the time conspired.
One of their demands during the protests was that the president cut the high cost of living, include the opposition in the selection of the IEBC Commissioners, and release Raila from his position.
