Chippa United are hoping to secure the services of midfielder Ronaldo Maarman for the 2023/24 season, but the decision will depend on parent club Orlando Pirates.
The Chilli boys survived relegation on the final day of the season, thanks to a goal against Lamontville Golden Arrows. The Eastern Cape side are already preparing for the 2023/24 season and want to find themselves in a better place.
And coach Lehlohonolo Seema from Morgan Mammila says that he will return, as reported by iDiski Times, he also came to our office and the goal is to keep the core of the squad, even those who are on loan.
Chippa want to keep Maarman, who was loaned by Pirates at the start of the 2022/23 season. The club believes in him and what he can add to the club, a source close to him has confirmed.
“Yes, Chippa wants to keep Maarman but everything depends on what Pirates want because he is their player. He will return to Pirates first when the decision is final,” a source confirmed to iDiski Times.
In total, Maarman has made 25 appearances for Chippa in 2022/23, scoring three goals and setting up another five.
