Over the last decade, Manchester United has struggled to compete on high levels failing to get a silverware since Sir Alex Ferguson left Old Trafford. Luckily enough, Dutch manager Eric ten Hag seems to be changing the atmosphere at Old Trafford after winning his first trophy in his debut season.
Nevertheless, Manchester United fans have been calling out the owners of Manchester United The Glazers to sell the club to owners who will have the interest of the club at heart. Earlier this year, the Glazers agreed to put the club on sale where they started to agree bida from those who were interested to buy the club.
For the last months, several bids were made to the owners of the club with Ineos owner Sir Jim Ratcliff and the Qatar owners being the frontline in the bid. At some point, it was reported that Jim Ratcliff had outbidded Qataris and he was poised to be the man to take the Red Devils.
Today Sheikh Jassim of 92 Foundation has revealed that they will be buying Man United in the coming weeks laughing off at those journalists who had said that Jim Ratcliff was the preferred candidate. The Qatar owners also have European giants PSG and the takeover of Man United will change the football dynamic in Europe and England in specific.
“To all the Journalist who said Jim Ratcliff was preferred bidder and could enter exclusive period for takeover !! WHERE ARE ALL THOSE JOURNALISTS? Remember Qatar will buy Manchester United Within a week.” Sheikh Jassim.
The takeover by 92 Foundation is looking to invest heavily starting from the renovation of the stadium to players who will give United a competitive edge to compete on top leagues like Champions League.
