During an interview with the AriseTV morning show, a Nigerian actor, lawyer, and also a member of the presidential campaign council of the Labour Party, Kenneth Okonkwo, says that he would not have voted for anybody who said he was going to maintain oil subsidies.
He further stated that it is an unholy alliance for a man who does not win an election to be talking about alliance because you can’t be doing one thing and preaching another thing, and that is a classical definition of being a hypocrite, and we are not like that in the Labor Party, he said.
According to him, everyone knows that the 2023 presidential election was rigged by the All Progressive Congress (APC), but now is the time that they are looking for alliances, which is not right. “In the way this country is going, I would not have voted for anybody who says that he is going to maintain oil subsidies in Nigeria, he said.
