Chuks Ohuegbe, the Director of Publication at the Pilot Newspaper, according to reports, has recently highlighted Peter Obi’s stance on fuel subsidy removal.
It would be recalled that during a recent interview on AIT’s Kakaaki programme, Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, expressed his opinion on the matter.
Moreover, he also acknowledged the challenges faced by Nigerians due to the removal of fuel subsidies, which had reportedly resulted in the scarcity of vehicles at filling stations, the quietness of offices, and the emptiness of streets, reflecting the level of unpreparedness of the nation for a positive change.
However while reacting to the reports of fuel subsidy removal Chuks Ohuegbe also stated that the sudden hike in fuel prices has caused more havoc in Nigeria.

According to one of his statements, Chuks Ohuegbe also said that “nowadays,the sum of 10,000 naira can only buy 18 litres of fuel that won’t last long.”
“These are some of the major problems Nigerians are facing, and that’s why we are calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria to take quick steps concerning the issue.” He said
