Court Of Appeal Uploads Presidential Tribunal Judgment On Website

The Court of Appeal has made available on its internet the 794-page judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) on the 2023 election.

According to vanguard News, the appellate court announced on Sunday the upload of the Certified True Copy (CTC) verdict via its official X, formerly known as Twitter, profile. According to Vanguard News, there were allegations that the tribunal judgement was tainted in favor of President Bola Tinubu due to the Tinubu Presidential Legal Team watermarks detected on copies circulated on social media. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) questioned the tribunal about the header of the Tinubu Legal Team on the Certified True Copies (CTC) of its verdict.

In a statement on Saturday, the coordinator of Tinubu’s Presidential Legal Team, Babatunde Ogala (SAN), refuted such allegations.However, the court of appeals claims that the judgment posted on its website has no watermark, stamp, or imprimatur of anyone. “CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF THE JUDGMENT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION COURT 2023.” After careful consideration and decision, the three Petitions Nos.
