During an appearance on Channels Television yesterday, it was reported that Chief Olabode George, a PDP chieftain, urged the party to form a committee to hold talks with Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, and other disgruntled party members so that the party could advance.
Nyesom Wike was persuaded by Chief Bode George not to leave the PDP since it is his home party.
However, while Mr. Daniel Bwala, a prominent party member, was responding to Chief Bode George’s comments, he said that the party should not care about those who are giving Wike time to pursue his divisive agenda.
Daniel Bwala continued by saying that everyone who loves the Peoples Democratic Party would oppose what Nyesom Wike is now doing to the party.
“Beware of those who go to the mainstream media pretending to want to sue for peace in PDP, calling for the party to manage Wike, but in reality buying time for Wike to continue his divisive agenda against the party; enabling APC government to create a one party state,” he warned. Anyone who values the PDP cannot accept Wike’s damage to the ‘s reputation.
