In the aftermath of the presidential election petition tribunal’s decision, which upheld Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general elections, a prominent APC member, Biodun Ajiboye, has shared his perspective. Ajiboye believes that the presidential candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi, along with their followers, fail to grasp the prevailing atmosphere within the APC.
According to Ajiboye, a seasoned leader like Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not inclined to engage in trivial matters. He argued that the APC entered into power with a focused mindset, fully aware of the magnitude of challenges facing Nigeria.
In response to the tribunal’s verdict, Biodun Ajiboye emphasized, “both Obi and Abubakar Atiku and their followers do not actually understand the mood in APC.” This assertion was made during an interview, reflecting his assessment of the outcome of the presidential election petition tribunal.
